365 Days of Middle-earth ~ Day 339: Roheryn

Roheryn (S. ‘Horse-of-the-Lady’) was the name of the shaggy, yet strong and proud, horse of Aragorn II, which had been brought to him by Halbarad and the Rangers of the North, and was named for its being a gift from the Lady Arwen Úndomiel. It was one of the horses of the Dúnedain which dared pass through the Paths of the Dead, and Aragorn rode this horse for the remainder of the War of the Ring.
