Last month, Peter Jackson and the WETA Digital team lost two of their own: VFX Eileen Moran, 60, died of cancer on December 2, and sound editor Mike Hopkins, 53, was killed in a rafting accident on December 30.
Honouring the contributions both made to his films, Jackson e-mailed two statements to Entertainment Weekly, which you can read here.
